Süß-säuerlich mit aromatischem, leicht würzigem Geschmack. Knackig und saftig. Die Sorte stammt vermutlich ursprünglich aus Neuseeland und wird heute auch in Europa angebaut. Besonders ist das ausgewogene Verhältnis von Süße und Säure. Durch Bio-Anbau ohne chemisch-synthetische Pflanzenschutzmittel besonders naturbelassen. Geeignet zum Rohessen, für Obstsalat, Kuchen oder zum Kochen, da sie beim Erhitzen meist gut ihre Form behalten. Gesundheitlich liefern sie Ballaststoffe, Vitamin C und Kalium, die die Verdauung und das Immunsystem unterstützen können.
